Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PHP/Laravel Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom web applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance custom Laravel-based web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code
- Create RESTful APIs for frontend/backend integration
- Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and tools as needed
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications
- Manage MySQL databases and write complex queries
- Version control using Git for code management
- Participate in project planning, code reviews, and deployment processes
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
- Experience with custom Laravel development (not just CMS)
- Good understanding of MySQL, relational databases, and query optimization
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
- Solid knowledge of OOP, MVC architecture, and coding best practices
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap (basic frontend knowledge)
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have (Optional):
- Experience with Vue.js, React, or other JS frameworks
- Knowledge of Docker, Linux, and deployment tools
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of security principles and data protection
