Basic Marketing Strategies

Either it be traditional marketing or digital/network marketing, objectives should be

Smart

Specific – As in which product/service, do we want to market and who will be our target audience.

Measureable – Our area to serve and versions should be measurable.

Attainable – We should be able to give best service/product, apart from area and other factors we are looking into; accordingly we have to plan.

Relevant – Our marketing targets should be relevant to current trends and services already available in the market and there should be some unique from that.

Time bound – What – so – ever marketing strategy we are taking, we should keep updating on it, from time to time and give service on time too.

Sources to reach out to consumers

Traditional marketing sources to reach out to people is limited including newspaper, magazines, television advertisements, posters, hoarding, banners and more while at the same time the sources of digital marketing is uncountable like social medias, blogs, websites and many more, can be said as innumerable.

Out of both these forms of marketing, neither is new or old fashioned. Both plays their part in various classes of society.

Competitive results as per sources

Through traditional marketing, targets which are achieved will not be certain. While through digital marketing targets achieved will be certain to some extent.

Still people of 50+ age are not prone to use smartphones/sources where digital marketing is being done. Since then product/services which are designed for them needs to be marketed by traditional marketing to reach out to them directly or else, indirectly we will be able to reach out to them.
