Since last 2 decades, Internet is growing at a rapid rate of approximately 5.2% annually. Apart from this the use of newspaper and television is not able to catch up with this growth.

Out of both these forms of marketing, neither is new or old fashioned. Both plays their part in various classes of society.

Through traditional marketing, targets which are achieved will not be certain. While through digital marketing targets achieved will be certain to some extent.
Still people of 50+ age are not prone to use smartphones/sources where digital marketing is being done. Since then product/services which are designed for them needs to be marketed by traditional marketing to reach out to them directly or else, indirectly we will be able to reach out to them.
